No sound
The sound on my computer quit right in the middle of what I was doing. The speakers appear to be working, but a restart didn't help. There must be something I need to reset. Any ideas as to what it is?

Have you checked that the correct device is set as default audio device, and check for an updated sound card driver or reinstalled it?

I have checked the settings and rechecked to make sure the speakers were still plugged in. after a restart, I now have sound. Still not sure what the problem was, but something worked. Thanks.
