I have 24GB installed RAM (7.95 usable) How do I fix this?
I have Windows 10 Pro. I just noticed that not even half of my memory is being used. It says I have 24GB installed (7.95 usable). Is there a way to fix this?

Open Task Manager, then click the Performance tab, then click Open Resource Monitor down the bottom, then when that opens click the memory tab, make a snip and upload it.
Example
Here
You see that massive gray area in the bar ?
That`s saying you have 16435 MB dedicated to Hardware Reserved, that usually means your graphics, which does not make any sense as you have a 6 GB 1060
Something is way wrong there
Post a link to your motherboard.
In the meantime start looking for some graphics options in the Bios.
I just installed the 1060 today.
Here is the motherboard I have. MSI 990FXA-GD65 with AMD 990FX/SB950 ATX Motherboard - Socket AM3+
OK that amount of hardware reserved would be normal (maybe) when you were using the cpu or motherboard graphics. But now that you have a dedicated video card that number should have changed drastically, as I said start looking in the bios for any graphics options, the bios is supposed to do it automatically but you never know.
Most people would have gotten an AMD card to go with an AMD cpu but that`s beside the point.
I had an AMD 7970 3GB before the 1060. And Okay I'll check.
Is your bios updated to the latest K-5 version?
What brand/model # of RAM sticks do you have installed?
Okay. I updated my Bios and I guess that fixed it. Now it say's "Installed RAM: 24.0 GB". Seems to be working! Thanks guys!
