Difference between Logitech M310 and M310 XL mice?

I see that the Logitech M310 XL mouse is available on retail store shelves, but I don't see it on the Logitech site or on Amazon or Newegg. Can anyone tell me the difference between the Logitech M310 and M310 XL? Thanks.

I believe it indicates eXtended battery Life18 months vs 12 months on the M310

All I also found was one offering on eBay that showed the longer battery life. The part number for the 310XL was the same as for 310 listed on Logitech. This Logitech page shows the 18-month so maybe the eBay offering was just being more detailed than others:

Extended battery life--that makes sense. Thanks, Neemobeer and Berton.

I know this is an old thread. But I just purchased the XL model to replace my standard corded desktop mouse that came with my Acer desktop. The corded mouse was okay. The reason why I went to a wireless mouse is because the cord kept getting stuck between the wall and desk. So far this new mouse seems to work great. I have another Logitech mouse similar to this one for my Laptop. Logitech is a good brand.
