Windows 10: Hard drive not recognized on new PC
Be nice to all, please?!
Have you solved this? My friend bought an external HDD, which resulted in the same problem. We have tried everything you did, no luck. He returned it and got money back, but when they connected it to PC with 8.1, everything was fine, they said, it was probably because of 10. I am asking, because I want to buy it, but not, when I can not get it working on 10.
I tried the method in the link you provided but didn't work. Replacing it will probably be the right thing to do since it also shows a lot of errors in the Event Viewer.
Still didn't manage to solve this. I tried repairing it using several ways but none of them seem to work so far. I will let you know if I finally manage to fix this.
Did you try swapping the data cables around? Maybe it's just the one port on the mobo that's funky?
The windows drive management follows the old standard that starts drive numbering from 0 whereas EaseUS start numbering from 1
Yeah I tested different ports and cables but still couldn't get it to work.
