Windows 10: Double entres of external hard drives. Solved

  1.    20 Oct 2016 #1

Double entres of external hard drives.

In the navigation pane, 2 entries for external Hd's H & J are shown. How to turn off the bottom 2 entries for the Hd's H & J & Network & Homegroup. I'm the only user for this computer & only need 1 entry for H & J Hd to show. When working with files on either Hd there are 2 sets which gets confusing; screen examples.

    Hello oldyeller38,

This is normal for a drive to be listed under both "This PC" and its own group in the navigation pane. The tutorial below can help show you how to remove the extra drive groups.

Thank you so much Brink; you are the man. I've been fighting this for several weeks now. Just showing 1 each entry for Hd's.
