    Freezing and Error 0x000000e


    Hi all,

    I have a dual boot system with windows 10 (Main boot sector) on the SSD and windows 7 on the 1Tb HDD.

    So my PC freezes up (seemingly randomly), with my mouse move-able but nothing will work. It will sit like this for a few minutes, then reboot. After reboot, I get an upset face saying Windows 10 can't find the boot device with the Error 0x000000e.

    Even if I power the computer down completely and then boot-up it says the same. But if I leave the PC for a day or two and boot up it's fine.

    I'm hoping it's not the motherboard, as I've already had to send it back once as one of the RAM slots had died. Can anyone help me even troubleshoot what's going on please? Or have any idea where to start?

    Try deactivating fast boot in bios.
