I have the RB22 too , and will be most unhappy when it dies, it is great for those with RSI issues, I wish I had one for each of my systems....

I have also found the nothing on all tabs except the Tools tab , a few times with recent Setpoint SW versions, but currently I have it on a Non-AU system and I am back on version 6.30.41 (driver ver. 5.30.67) to get all the Options again.

I also own the MX2 Mouse (Wifi/Bluetooth) but it's Options software ,seems to screwup the Setpoint stuff especially if you install the Options SW 1st on a system , in my experience, ymmv.

Several Logitech M570 wireless trackballs here running with no issues. I don't use the Setpoint software though. I don't need any of those functions. If I need to link or unlink device I just install the Unifying software. I use Logitech Keyboards and trackballs exclusively. They all work with the stock Windows supplied drivers.

I moved my RB22 over to my AU.83 system and it is seen fine on 6.67.83 (driver 5.90.41) on the PS2 port , the system also has a Marble Mouse on the USB Port, no problem with it and both seen in Setpoint as you would expect.

If I remember rightly I initially had issues in win 10 and went back to Setpoint V6.30_x64 to get the mouse Tab and correct images to show up. That system was the one I installed Options for the MX2 on 1st and could not get SetPoint to recognize anything , so I had to uninstall Options altogether.

Yes they all work fine with the M$ Drivers too but it limits the programmable buttons and the scroll wheel etc, which is the only reason to use the Logitech Software I find.

Yeah, my M570's only have 2 extra buttons for forward and back. I never reprogram them so I don't usually bother with Setpoint. Plus I've had issues with Setpoint in Windows 10 in the past. It would delay shutdown. I hope you get your issue sorted, it sucks when one of your favorite peripherals isn't working like it should.

Came across this Logitech instruction to recapture the Mouse tab (Keyboard and Mouse tabs are missing in SetPoint - Logitech Support Article). When I tried to rename the xxxxx.sys file to xxxxx.bak, I wasn't allowed to. Furthermore, I could not even change permissions in the file's properties. If you think this fix may work and not screw up the computer, perhaps you could help me make the change to "bak?"

You would need to take Ownership of the file and then change the permissions..... however that is WinXP advice.....

Did you try what I said earlier in the Thread ? ie install the very earliest (6.30?) version of set point 1st and then upgrade? it's what worked for me.

The old advice (before win10) has always been to install Setpoint 4.XXX if this issue occurs with Setpoint 6.xxx, and then update to newer versions , so I tried that theory with the earliest 6.XX version.

These are some other Logitech files I have gathered on there Forums that might help get the tab and images back ,though I don't think it's what worked for me this time.

When I first tried Keyboard and Mouse tabs are missing in SetPoint - Logitech Support Article, I almost crashed the computer because I didn't follow instructions properly. So, when I figured that one out, I redid the procedure, but this time correctly. However, still no mouse tab....

Yeah, did it all. Loaded on and earlier version...no mouse tab. Installed the latest version over it...no mouse tab. Did what Logitech suggest, with and without loading on an earlier version...still no mouse tab. Hate to say how many hours I've spent on MS's screw up (and I'm too embarrassed to do so, so I won't.) But, I my estimation, the TRB=22 Cordless optical Trackman (with all its customization,) is the best of the best mouse (nothing else out there like it) and I hate to give up on it

None of the Files in the Zip helped either I guess ? sorry been about 4-5 months and I can't remember exactly what I did on Ten to get it Working.

You didn't install Logitech Options did you for another Mouse or something? that totally screwed up setpoint when I installed it 1st then setpoint.

Yep I love it too so have had to screw with this a few times a year for at least 5 yrs ? now....
