i have a hp elitebook 745 amd ryzen 5 3500u ps and it has the usb-c port that has the usb symbol the pd symbol and the SS symbol. i need to move the hdmi and the lan off that side because i just do not have the room on that side. my work space is small and i have it by the kitchen table and between the table and the wall. so i need to get a port replicator device to plug into that port and then set that unit behind the laptop and clear up that space.

i tried one and i got from ebay that the seller said would work and it did the lan and the usb ports but did not let me use the external monitor hdmi or vga. i use a 24" external monitor that i put the laptop screen up behind so that i can better see the screen. the pc screen is just to small to see good anymore

i do have the hp port replicator but that unit is failing it kicks me off the internet lan and redirects me to wifi. i can just use wifi but if i have lan here i want to use it.
