Magician 5 is a joke!
Magician 5 is a joke!
Just got the "update" message... tried to update current software, fail. The new software appears to install but when the computer is restarted it I get a could not load message. Tried a clean install and got the same results... no error codes, no other indications. Magician 4.95 installs and runs fine.
Windows 10 Pro, version 1607, build 14393.693/Asus Rampage V/I7-5960X/32GB Ram/Intel 750 NVMe boot/ 2x Samsung 850 Pro data
Samsung Magician v5.0 works fine with me. Samsung 850 Pro with firmware EXM03B6Q.
Windows 10 x64 14393.693.
I don't know about the benchmark tests . . . they are very high - looks a bit unrealistic to me.
Did a few extra runs, each time the results were about same.

Hi there! I'm hoping someone can help me out- ever since upgrading to Magician 5.0, the app simply loads to a blank window:
I've tried to reinstall several times- including downgrading back to version 4.9.7 & turning off RAPID mode before upgrading. I'm running a Samsung 850 Pro 512GB, firmware is up-to-date. Any suggestions would be helpful!

I have been having problems on my three PCs with Magician 5 and uninstalled it on all 3.
I'm waiting for the next update, and will try that.
By the way, you might want to think about getting a larger disk, or uninstalling any software you don't need or use, and delete their leftover folders, and anything else you do not need(maybe previous versions of Windows 10 left after a build upgrade) as you have too little space left for the SSD to preform garbage collection, and probably retrim, a total of 17GB??? unless you have over provisioned of course.:))
Like Cliff said, you have your drive almost maxed out!! Plus you've split it into 3 partitions, Not A Good Idea!!! That is your main problem. I would make a complete image backup now, using a good backup program like Macrium Reflect, and then re-configure your 840 drive back to just ONE partition. Remove any programs not needed, clean out any garbage files left over by Windows or other apps. CCleaner is good for that. Just my suggestion.
Let's put aside recommendations with capacity and cleaning. The screen is old and I've already done that.
Besides that, do you have any ideas why drive is not recognized correctly ?
