You could create an ISO from the install.esd file. That way, you wouldn't have to download the ISO.

ESD to ISO - Create Bootable ISO from Windows 10 ESD File - Windows 10 Forums

USB Drive - Boot from in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

Since you're ralatively new on TenForums, I've taken the liberty to hand you the tutorials needed to create your ISO and a bootable USB drive with the ISO on it.

@Dagnet sorry we couldn't find out the reason, but yeah, a clean install of Win10 is probably the best way to go. In the 1st post I have a link to the newest Magician version,

Also some other info's from their FAQ page:

What is RAPID, and how do I use it?
    • RAPID (Real Time Acceleration Processing of I/O data) Mode
uses the DRAM caching technique provided by Samsung Magician to enhance the performance of the SSD.
      • [How to use RAPID Mode]
      • 1. Click Enable / Disable buttons to enable or disable RAPID mode.
      • 2. Reboot the computer (when the rebooting message pops up, click the OK button).
      • 3. Click the Enable button. Reboot the computer and start the RAPID mode in 45 seconds.
(In Task Manager - Performance - Memory tab, verify that the size of non-paged pool has increased).
        - The increased size of non-paged pool indicates that RAPID mode has started
        - For 4GB RAM, in 45 seconds it will increase to about 700MB

For further details, please visit website below and refer to white paper on RAPID
      - www.samsung.com/samsungssd
      Item Minimum requirement Recommendations
Process 1GHz or faster 2GHz or faster
      Operating system Win7/Win8 x86/x64 Win7/8 x64
      Memory 2GB RAM 4GB RAM
Storage device Samsung SSD 840 EVO (limited)
      Available SSD space 50MB 100MB
      File system NTFS

    • What do I need to watch out for when using RAPID?
    • Restrictions for RAPID (Real Time Acceleration Processing of I/O data)
      • 1. Even if you have more than one 840 EVO SSD connected to the system, only one of them can use RAPID Mode
      • 2. RAID mode is not supported
      • 3. NVIDIA Storage controller is not supported
      • 4. A RAPID Mode enabled SSD does not support firmware update or Secure Erase (you must disable RAPID Mode to perform these tasks)
      • 5. If fast startup is enabled in Windows 8, you must restart the system to enable/disable RAPID Mode (Fast startup is enabled by default in Windows 8. You cannot enable/disable RAPID Mode by shutting down the system)
      • 6. A Flush command by the OS or an application may result in performance variations (especially if Write-Cache Buffer Flushing is turned on)

For further details, please visit website below and refer to white paper on RAPID

Just one more suggestion then for you Dagnet. If you decide for the clean install method, PLEASE make a complete image backup BEFORE doing your clean install!!! Very important for you to do this!!! Keep the image backup on a 2nd drive Not on your OS drive. This will give you insurance incase something goes wrong with your clean install. We also suggest that you use Macrium Reflect Free version to make ALL your image backups for your Windows 10. Here is a link sir.

And there you have it, Dagnet! What you've experienced is TenForums at its best. What one of us suggests is added to when necessary so you'll get the whole picture with complete instructions.

I need to make myself an instruction sheet one of these days so I'll remember everything. :)

    Thanks everyone for the help!

Just checked that, my non-paged pool size doesnt not increase at all. Also, I noticed a cmd window opening at start up, with a red text showing briefly on it and then closing before I could read. There is probably more wrong with my pc than I think haha

    Hello ladies and gents.

A couple of dozen pages ago I found a potential fix for an error when installing Samsung's Magician software. When trying to install Samsung's Magician I get a "Reboot is pending after the last RAPID Mode operation. Reboot the system and try again" error.

Windows 10 Pro 64bit version 1511, all the latest updates sans what O&O Shutup blocks for M$' telemetry data gathering and tracking. Also, I'm running a local account for my Adaptec RAID controller software to function. Magician software installer v497 is what I've found and have been trying to get installed. Boot drive is a Samsung 850 EVO 512GB.

I must have uninstalled Magician a while back, because it is no longer listed under my installed programs. I cleared out the %temp% folder and anything in a Samsung directory. I've tried a C: drive system files cleanup. I've checked and removed what I could from the registry pertaining to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\SATDisableRebootTargetInfo - all that is left in it is a (default) entry without a data value set that I cant seem to delete. Oh, and I've tried the obvious of running the Magician installer as admin and with Windows 8 compatibility. Since I have no idea when this happened, I'm not sure that a system restore point (if I have any) will help.

Any thoughts on how I can get Magician installed again?

Well, I was able to get around it finally! Good old CC Cleaner cleared up the problem.

I downloaded the newest version of magican, but when i activate rapid mode then my pc freezes completely after 15 sec from reaching the desktop.. And it worked fine the day before when i rebooted.

I suspect this error might be because of the windows updates the pc installed the night before. as a few reboots the day it was installed worked just fine.

For the Samsung SSD enthusiasts: Samsung announces the largest SATA SSD: 4TB 850 EVO | PCWorld

Maybe you can ditch that hard drive after all. Samsung said Monday morning its new 4TB 850 EVO now stands as the world’s highest-capacity consumer SSD.The drive offers double the capacity of the previous 850 EVO and will reach sequential read and write speeds of 540MBps and 520MBps, respectively—pretty much the max of the SATA interface.
SATA, of course, is the key word here. Samsung has been shipping a near 16TB drive (which you can read about here) for months already, but that drive runs on the server- and workstation-focused SAS interface. The 850 EVO's SATA interface and 2.5-inch form factor make it an ideal solution for consumer desktops.
