I see a 5 Oct 2015 version of Magician on the Samsung web site. Is this really new? It says version 4.7 but the associate manual does not include Windows 10 as a support OS.
4.7 has been out for a while. Not sure why they would date it that way unless there was just some very minor update.

Where are you getting the October 5th date from?

The last I heard, Samsung is supposed to be releasing a 950 Pro M.2 PCIe X 4 SSD on October 15th. It;s supposed to read at 2.5 GB/s and write at 1.5 GB/s (yes GB not Gb). I am sure they will have to have a Magician that will work with it too. That may very well be part of the hang up with them releasing a new Magician version.

I downloaded magician version 4.7 and also downloaded windows enabler 1.1. I ran windows enabler 1.1 as administrator and then double-clicked the system tray icon to turn it ON. Then I ran magician 4.7 and the RAPID feature is still greyed out.

So it doesn't work. Or i'm doing it wrong.

    Please help.

Let me try that. Didn't think to click on a grayed out button. Lol

Does magician need to be running all the time for rapid and OS optimization to keep working?

Ok it works. You're right you just need to click the greyed out "enable" button and it becomes available to click on.

But my question is, do I need to have Magician running for RAPID and OS optimization to keep working?
