I know that and I believe this has gone far enough.
Thank You ALL, but I believe I will at least turn off Rapid Mode..

Yeah, that's not a bad idea, though I'm not sure mine was off or on when I did my updates. I've a few Samsung SSD drives so...

Please let us know how it went. Also keep up abreast of your restart issues.

    Good luck.

We'll have to go back a few pages before the Great FW Update Debate of 2017 on this . . .

I did try the solution I found and posted for when shrink disk won't properly show all your available space. It was showing I had 578MB when I have 115GB available. Part 2: even though the space is shown as free now - it still won't allow an OP saying there is not enough space. In addition, like prior Samsung Magicians, it now sees all the free space and gives me the opportunity for Magician to create the OP - but won't because it does not see enough space - even when I try a 1% shrink of 4.77GB. I'll do more research but never seen this one before. So using either Disk Management to shrink volume or Samsung Magician doesn't work as they don't apparently see free space. For the Disk Management operation I tried to shrink 1000MB.

I personally think your issue needs its own thread so you may get the dedicated help you need. This is a general Magician software thread where anything related to Magician my pop up, thus burying your issue.

With that I've no idea where to start since your posts are getting buried by other posts. Help yourself by starting your own thread.

    My two cents.

I disagree that it has been clarified before. A possible work around has been offered. Not a solution.

Understand the comment on starting a new thread . . . that could apply to several recent discussions.

OK, all went well and I am now on EXM04B6Q. I did turn off Rapid Mode before the update. It is back on now. I did not expect the system to power down. I thought it would just restart, but all seems OK now.
