Wish Samsung would add Magician support for their SM951 M.2 drive...........

Looks to me that Samsung wants to push consumers to their new M2 950 pro drive.......
M2 drives don't need it with those speeds. Magician is really only needed for Three things:
    1. If someone wants to tweak their system, instead of letting Windows take care of it(bad idea many SSD beginners do).
    2. Run RAPID Mode.
    3. Update the firmware.

Do the M2's have any software at all for updating the firmware, or do you have to go to Samsung's site and download it yourself?

version 4.9 works. good for firmware updates and RAPID mode. Trim is available in the OS environment and not provided with magician installed here.

Unless you have a non-OS Samsung drive. In that situation magician 4.9 allows optimization/trim under the Advanced tab.

Really??? I had version 4.8 and now version 4.9 I've never seen ANY trim feature in Magician?? Also I have many optimization choices under my advanced tab, and my Samsung is my Windows OS drive. Maybe I am mis-reading something here??

I am having no problems running Magician 4.9 under Windows 10586.3 But I upgraded thru the Media Creation Tool also. Runs just fine.
I did the same and have no problems...other than the Win 10 upgrade removed CPUZ!

Yeah it removed speccy for me, and lots of folks lost CPUZ too, but I think you can re-install them if you want too. I found a replacement for speccy. :)
