Ah, there's interesting comment in there now:

Samsung Magician 6.3.0 steht zum Download bereit | Deskmodder.de

A small note on "Errors in the application": This error no longer occurs (for me) if I uninstall the (old) NVM driver from Samsung - i.e. the standard driver from MS is / becomes active (after the necessary restart) However, no new driver is found (at the moment) either

    Well...

Works fine in regular and insider Windows.

I just love it when Magician tries to read Samsung OEM drives.

My magician still says it is up to date at version 6.2.1.

I closed it and restarted, no change.

And it will not, you need to update it manually.

It'll be a week or two, until it updates through Magician.
Just wait, and hopefully the bug will be gone.

    Well...

Right, this comment made me think and there we are:

It appears that previous installation error only appears once I run the installer from NVMe drive: My OS drive - where the ~/TEMP folders are is a SATA SSD, whereas ~/Download folder is placed on NVMe drive. So once I moved the installer to SATA SSD it just worked fine.

I am struggling to see what the problem is exactly but the fact that all SSD/NVMe disks are made by SAMSUNG and I do have NVMe driver provided by SAMSUNG either, it really makes me think...

In either case: hope somebody will find it useful.

NB: Installer is now available also here:

Well, something's amiss, or plain wrong - that's for sure.

My 850 EVO 250GB says I have the latest version installed yet it's version 5.1.0 so that can't be right can it?

    Thanks
