Samsung Magician

I use it on my internal 850 SSD only for the Rapid Mode. I have a couple of Win 10 OS's installed on it. It does make a difference in performance. The rest of the foo-fah is just that, foo-fah. Except the firmware item.

Main 1903 is on the NMVe 2.0, and Magician won't play there. Just the other SATA SSDs.

Like slower boot times(as your RAM loads at boot

ASUS has a much more powerful RAM cache program, that also "learns" and it caches for all disks on a system, using only what it needs: RAMCache III(to download check and ASUS Maximus XI series motherboard utilities download(the Maximus X has only older versions as the pages are not updated as much now)

The Doc for RAMCache II Introduction of ROG RAMCache II | Official Support | ASUS Global

worth noting is that RAMCache II is now ready to support NVM Express protocol storage devices.

I've never noticed any of that. Usually runs in 8.0-8.4 second range.

Just for the record I have tested Ram caching(like ASUS and Samsungs) and they do work very well, but seeing I like to benchmark, it messes up your RAM tests, and also it's something running in the background so also lowers scores, and in some cases invalidates the benchmark giving no score, but holy 7734, the disk benchmarks°!

    Samsung Magician

Not RAPID as this is an M.2 NVMe

Not sure it makes any difference, but the OS's on the 850 SSD with Magician are only the OS and recovery partitions, the EFI and LBA are on the NMVe.

I d/l the ASUS Maximus XI series motherboard utilities app, and I don't see any RAMcache app in there to install Cliff ??
Was going to play with it....but I don't see it.
