    That way one doesn't have to go to Samsung, unless they want a copy of the installer in case of a clean install.

    Don't need it all the time, check and set everything and than remove until needed again.

    Hi,
    Thought the ss power plan optimized for ssd use and updating firmware was the only real items people used with it :/
    Thought I was missing something new
    Besides shifting read/ write speed to installed memory that is I forget what that feature is called.

    I have it to just check for firmware updates, which is important specially if the update fixes a security issue.
    Like how SSDs have a real issue when it comes to using Windows BitLocker.

    Rapid mode ? That works only on SATA drives.
