Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version

Hi Konstantine and welcome to TenForums!
HDA are the traditional Realtek drivers, to be used in older hardware i.e before mid 2017, whereas the UAD ones are for new hardware and they are much smaller in size than the HDA ones.

You can use UAD on old hardware too, I got UAD installed on a 2012 FX8350 platform. I suppose it's up to the manufacturer to support it together with RTK, and up to the user to use a more modern Windows 10 version, like 1803/1089, although I am pretty sure it works on earlier RS3 as well.
For example, this is Gigabyte officially supporting 8447 on my old motherboard:
GA-990XA-UD3 (rev. 3.0) | Motherboard - GIGABYTE Global
Pretty sure I could just install 8591 too if I wanted too, but yeah, it's not really worth bothering.

Thanks for the clarification, ddelo, but do the UADs replace the old Audio Manager or are they meant to coexist with each other? Because without being able to access the Manager I don't see any possibility to get back to Windows detecting my speakers and my headset as two separate devices. At least the MSI Audio Console doesn't offer any such option.

Thank you for you support!
erpster4 on this post suggest to not download any of the new drivers because on the newest drivers there aren't included the Creative files... What's the problem with this?

As far as I know, as I'm not using UAD drivers, UAD drivers run with Realtek Audio Console, available at the Microsoft store.

You're most welcome!
I'm very sorry but I don't use Creative. So if @erpster4 says so, then they're not included. He's the expert, not me!

Thanks I'll try to update it.
But I forgot to mention that I just recently updated to 8549 especially because I had this problem and it didn't fix it. Gonna try with 8591 though.
Also could my problem be because of using UAD (I have a Z370 motherboard)? Or maybe it's not even linked to audio drivers, I have this problem for so long now...

special note to
larc919 &
Warkratos: someone posted an 8470 "FF10" driver package with the Creative DLL files
here. do
not use any of the new Realtek drivers from Microsoft Update Catalog as the Creative files are no longer included in many of the new 8xxx drivers. just use only the FF10 driver packs from now on wherever you can find them.
Hi! I have a Gigabyte motherboard with codec Realtek ALC892. Why you advice to not downloading the latest drivers that they haven't the Creative DLL files? Those Creative DLL files are so important to all of us?
Thank you.
