Yeh it was down for me too, which is why I asked here thinking they used some other driver site. But s-d is finally working again now.

I think I saw somewhere that they were/are upgrading the site. So if not 100% up, it will come up in full.

It seems that Gigabyte and Microstar International (MSI) have recently posted their set of 8470 drivers on their respective web sites

v6.0.1.8470 UAD driver from Gigabyte (with Dolby DAX3 integration) [CN] [EU] [US] [Asia]

v6.0.1.8470 classic HDA driver from MSI > [HDA] [HDA w/ Nahimic]
edit 7/12: 8470 UAD drivers from MSI were recently updated to 8480 - I'll mention on new post

and Gigabyte has also posted 8475 UAD driver as well [CN] [EU] [US] [Asia]

I could update to either 8470 or 8475 since the hwid "HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0892&SUBSYS_1458A192" that my Gigabyte board has is listed in the INF files from Gigabyte's new Realtek drivers.

Is there any chance this could solve my problem with this Dell Latitude E6540 I bought a couple months back? I noticed not that long after I bought it that it was having this weird issue where, whenever I start playing a video or song/pause and then unpause a video or song, the volume would be at a much higher level than what I set the audio to. And strangely, if I press either the volume up or volume down key, it goes down to what it should be. Like if I press the volume up key to have the volume set to 20, but then pause the song and then unpause it, it will sound like it's at around 30 or 40, but if I hit the volume UP key it will go DOWN to 22. I've heard other people complaining about this issue with their Dell laptops, Realtek audio drivers, and Windows 10, like me, but none of the solutions I've heard have worked.

At times some were complaining that updates were churned out too frequently on MUC... now we can say that updates are almost scarce.

Anyhow, they've published two options for 6.0.1.8475:
    Microsoft Update Catalog

    As a side note:
I've downloaded 6.0.1.8480, but have yet to update to this version. On my PC, the option with APO integration (for HP) seems to work best.

6.0.1.8475 shows as "Driver Model: Realtek High Definition Audio(SST)"

I guess this isn't the traditional generic driver?!

New user. HI there, first of all sorry my English. So my problem starts a couple of weeks ago... from one sec to another the left speaker of my (2in1 PC Asus transformer pro 3) started to make some weird and cracking sounds.... i thought was a hardware problem, because until that moment (more or less 3 mouths using the computer everything was ok...) so i send my pc to asus repair.... basically they format my pc, they install a new mother board, and they told me that everything was ok... but is not, the problem persists.... i try everything, install the last realtek drivers, bios... and nothing....
So the problem is that the sound one my left speaker is almost mute comparing with the right speaker, (windows sound balance is ok...). i have this driver installed, 6.0.1.8470... and basically i try everything, windows online support, asus official repair... and nothing i am not a pc professional user, but until today i didnt had any problems with drivers or something similar.... i dont know what to do... so PleasE if someone can give me a tip i will be grateful...
    Thanks
