    Hi,

Could anyone recommend a working Realtek driver (UAD preferably so I can get new Realtek Audio Controller application to work) for Windows 10 Home for ASUS ZeBook Flip 14" (ALC269)?
    Thank you!

    re-post 6.0.1.8591 HDA again, Brink !

the 285.6Mb package is OEM specific to Acer and is an HDA/SST specific combo driver bundling DOLBY apps (gosh I wish you had checked the contents of that 285.6Mb cab download in a file archiving tool)
supported hardware ID listed for the 285.6Mb v8591 package:

here are the NEW links to 6.0.1.8591 HDA (non-UAD) that Microsoft posted that are 110Mb (the "right size" for generic, All OEM HDA driver)

    [8591 Generic HDA - 109.9Mb] [8591 Generic + CXAPO HDA - 111.4Mb]

supported hardware IDs listed for the v8591 (109.9Mb) pack are the following:

and for the (111.4Mb) v8591 pack, the supported hardware IDs listed were the following:

remember, you need to look for HDA packages from MUC that are either 109Mb or 110Mb in size that work for all OEMs
UAD driver packs (for all OEMs / generic) from MUC are about 9.0Mb in size
    It's all Greek to me.

I really wish Realtek or Microsoft would make this much easier.

I know Microsoft is clearly the most reliable source for these packages and the obvious candidate for the first post links, but their catalog entries are not really properly structured or designed for this, as you don't have all the details unless you check the inf and see what it supports.

Maybe considering the alternative link sources is a better option for this driver, considering the delayed Microsoft updates/obscure OEM variations.
