Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version
-
*UPDATE: 8578 is now HD Audio on MUC.
it is actually an HDA (non-UAD) driver even though the size of the cab download for 8578 is about 110Mb (weird) instead of 140Mb
I had been sick last week but feeling a lot better though it's currently raining in southern california

You gave the explanation @erpster4, a few days ago. No WOV.
Hope you get well

Yup, that's what I meant.
And as @ddelo says, it doesn't have the WOV files (of no use to me personally).
If I'm not mistaken, 8581 should be available.

Yes 8581 is available, I've just installed and giving them a tryout.

For me there are differences but they are subtle, with 8581 the bass is tighter sounding and the top end is more detailed. There are background sounds that were missing with previous drivers and can now be heard. For me on my system these are very good drivers

I have an ASRock 390Z MB with an ALC1220 chip (Win 10 1809). Installed the UAD-drivers from ASRock (8496). Also tried the generic 8501 from station-drivers.
Everytime i boot, i get an application-crash entry in my event-viewer. Event ID 1000, application error. Also the WER is writing something:
P1: AUDIODG.EXE
P2: 10.0.17763.134
P3: 1cb1ad5b
P4: StackHash_ef15
P5: 0.0.0.0
P6: 00000000
P7: PCH_0F_FROM_ntdll+0x000000000009F0E4
P8: c0000005
P9: 0000000000000008
P10:
The sound works well, just that audiodg.exe-crashes on start up.
With the HDA-drivers i have no crashes/event viewer entries. Maybe someone has the same?

Does anyone here know how to configure an onboard realtek hd sound card to send audio to speakers and headphone jack at the same time?
