    UPDATE on build 8339.

I've listened to these drivers for a couple of hours now using tracks I'm familiar with. My findings were that vocals sounded a bit rough around the edges and cymbals were almost none existent. I'm now back on build 8328 :)

    Hi,

Which sort of confirms that no one at RT actually listen to their drivers. And since nobody knows why they keep udating them I'll stick to what sounds good to me until something better comes along.
    Thanks for the info @DooGie.

    Cheers,

Cheers Frank. However your comment about them not actually listening to their drivers makes me wonder if it would make any difference if they did. IMO probably not :)

Well, I have to agree with khanmein on this one, seems slightly better than previous driver. I dunno DooGs, my vocals and cymbals sound fine, in fact I'm hearing a bit more in those ranges than before. So mileage indeed varies with our setups, I guess.

(I do always turn up the last three levels of the equalizer to 2, 4, 6 respectively because I need higher high-end.)

Well I've always said that what suits one won't suit all. It's a matter of taste.

I use it but being "tone deaf" I'm told :) I aren't exactly able to tell how good it is...

running an older version here but the new 64bit version is at.....
