Doesn't work for me either. Tried the "CAB Install" from the Explorer Context Menu and the Command Prompt. Both give me the Error 2 failure. I give up. Probably don't need the update any way.

Have to comment here about at least a little frustration. MS gives me an update from their site and no way to install it without jumping through hoops. And then that fails.

Ty for the tip DooGie. At the end i unpacked the Realtek drivers, then the cab file too. Then from the unpacked cab "folder" i copied everything to the unpacked Realtek/WIN64 folder. Then installed with the setup.exe and now i finally have it.

Hey, thanks. I'll give it a try later today or tomorrow. My "supervisor" has other things we need to tend to first.

See post #2777 and post back if it works for you. I have not seen it in Control Panel in Creators Update, only in TH2 so only Start Menu for Creators Update.

No need to have to install the latest cab. HD Manager only appears on Start Menu for me in Creators Update, probably it depends on which inf file is used? But anyways, see post #2777 as HD Manager is installed, sometimes it doesn't install the shortcut properly. If anyone figures out what makes the Control Panel appear in the registry, please post.

You are installing it incorrectly, you need extract the cab file to a folder and then in Device Manager, update the driver and point it to that folder you extracted to and it will install. If you still don't have the HD Audio Manager anywhere, Control Panel and/or Start Menu -> Realtek, then follow my post #2777 to get it there.

Realtek 2.82 still regularly crashes on every Windows 10 reboot for me, right after login.
    To be exact audiodg.exe crashes:

This error started with the very first version of Windows 10 CU and is still unfixed.
It's not a visible crash though: you'll just find this log in Reliability Monitor, after every reboot.
