    Hi,

That site I use quite a lot myself. They're quite safe most of the time but you still have to be very careful.
Most of the time Defender dus not like it at all. False positives actually.

    Cheers,
Yep and their Security Certificates sometimes bring up the red flag in browsers.

I've refrained from sharing the smaller-sized updates seeing as most don't work for many of us.
If there's an option available that is anywhere from 137-143 MB, it's usually good for my system and for many others...
and those updates I will post here.
that's because the "small-size" driver updates are UAD (universal audio driver) based and only install under Win10 build 15063 (RS2 - v1703) or higher and won't install under build 14393 (v1607) & earlier builds of Win10.

peek inside any of those small-sized driver cab packages, open the hdxrt.inf file or any other INF file included and you'll see the following entries like this:

    [Manufacturer]
    %MfgName% = AzaliaManufacturerID, NTamd64.10.0...15063

    [AzaliaManufacturerID.NTamd64.10.0...15063]
that indicates the drivers only install under minimum Win10 build 15063.

Just posted today 5/22: v6.0.1.8447 "full-fledged" cab driver pack from MS Update Catalog [139Mb] - NON-UAD driver; works under 64bit Windows 10 (any version, even the RTM/1507 build 10240 release of Win10)

for the full-fledged 137-140Mb something cab package, the INF files like hdxrt.inf file have something like this:

    [Manufacturer]
    %MfgName% = AzaliaManufacturerID, NTamd64.6.0

    [AzaliaManufacturerID.NTamd64.6.0]
these lines indicate the driver can be installed under a 64bit Windows version as early as Vista.

    Vista = NT 6.0, Win7 = NT 6.1, Win8 = NT 6.2, Win8.1 = NT 6.3, Win10 = NT 6.4 or NT 10.0
