Hello, i´ve installed the latest version of realtek HD audio(r2.82) from the official site, everything installed correctly but the "Realtek HD audio manager" software is missing, even in control panel. How can i have it back? i´ve updated it from r2.79

Yes there's very little difference between build 8216 and 8219 although I have a slight preference for 8219, seems a bit smoother sounding.

Hi, I suggest you update it from.CAB file trce to which you can find at the first page of this thread. That's what I did and got controls back.

    Hi,

Never seen anything Realtek related in the startmenu. I do have RT Audio Manager in Control panel and the files for that are included in the .cab file.

    Cheers,
It has always been in the Start Menu and Control Panel ever atleast 6 years ago with Windows 7.

Same here, it's never appeared in the Start Menu. However it has disappeared from the Control Panel in a couple of builds but was still available from the SysTray. I never use it though so it doesn't particularly worry me, I've never understood why users have a need for it unless they like weird effects loke listening to music in a bathroom :) I ask myself WHY?
The System Tray one requires running Audio Manager first either from the Start Menu or Control Panel or you can run the file that the Start Menu links to. In all cases, you would need to click on the i in Audio Manager and then display in notification area first before it will show up in System Tray.

If you bother to read what I said earlier, it is not for the EQ as I have something else for that like FX Sound Manager. It is to set the Default Format which isn't possible to do anywhere else. You're running on a desktop so your speakers and the actual volume are not part of the soundcard as that's what line out is for while I'm on a laptop so the speakers are built-in and the volume control is the computer itself so it is not for the effects but rather for the Default format which is the sampling rate.
