Thanks, I tested & noticed 8216 bass is really crisper. Even though, my HD 558 bass is anemic.
No prob. Yes, sounds a lot more defined.

    Hi,

Never seen anything Realtek related in the starmenu. I do have RT Audio Manager in Control panel and the files for that are included in the .cab file.

    Cheers,

Same here, it's never appeared in the Start Menu. However it has disappeared from the Control Panel in a couple of builds but was still available from the SysTray. I never use it though so it doesn't particularly worry me, I've never understood why users have a need for it unless they like weird effects loke listening to music in a bathroom :) I ask myself WHY?

I needed equalizer with presets badly because of speakers being out of easy reach and without much control (Bass and volume only) and several different inputs. One of them is for TV and it has very low bias so it sounds too deep (high bass) but when I switch to music and set for TV to have good sound, music sounds empty. Finally it's available for this MB and it's codec and can and is used several times a day.

    Hi Guys,

I have an issue with my Asus Z97-A Realtek output to my headphones. I'm getting buzzing and radio interference like noise in my headphones. Any idea what might be causing this?
