DooGie, I'm not saying I can't download it. Just saying the 2nd link is not working so needs to be updated. Anyways, the R2.81 did install the Realtek HD Audio Manager in the Start Menu but nothing related to Realtek in the Control Panel. In reality, 8210 does too since all the files are there and it's running in the background, just the shortcut is missing as even the folder still exists in the Start Menu. What's weird was the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2015, it was the setup.exe installer that did not install the Realtek HD Audio Manager and doing a Have disk from device manager using the files from the setup.exe folder fixed it but now it seems to be the other way around.

You need to do the Have Drive route, after you select Update Driver, select the "Browse my computer for driver software" and after that, select "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer" and point it at the folder of the drivers and then pick any inf file and then pick one of the drivers listed under Show Compatible Drivers.

I just updated my drivers using MSI's live update(just had one a couple of weeks ago and now again).

Using the total installer I don't get that uninstall loop, like I get when I do it manually.

The only thing that I hate about Realtek is, you need to re-setup everything after every update.
Why can't they use a desktop .ini and reapply your settings? Very sloppy.

another 8210 driver package from MS recently showed up while I was away (it's 98.2Mb in size and is specifically for SST based audio devices [the "Driver model" info says "Realtek High Definition Audio(SST)"]; AMD64 edition only.

Edit: this message is specifically for Andrei10: try the following customized realtek audio drivers from Dell your Dell computer:

Version 6.0.1.8166 - J514X (has many MaxxAudio integration files but requires installation from the HDXMATP3.INF file, if your hardware ID model is listed in that INF file), open the Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_J514X_WIN_6.0.1.8166_A06.EXE file in 7zip and extract the files inside and run setup.exe file from the RealtekHDAudio folder. Do NOT run the DELLMUP.exe file.

Version 6.0.1.8184 - PDG1K (also has MaxxAudio integration files but needs installation thru the HDXMA7.inf file). Open the Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Driver_PDG1K_WIN_6.0.1.8184_A05.EXE file in 7zip, extract the file inside and run setup.exe from the RealtekHDAudio folder.

Let us know if any of these customized Realtek audio drivers from Dell work, Andrei10. And don't bother downloading ANY of the 8xxx Realtek audio drivers from Microsoft Update Catalog because many times, the Realtek drivers from MS do not have the Waves MaxxAudio integration DLL files in them.
