If you think there are a lot of updates you should have been here a couple of years ago when we had access to the Realtek ftp servers. Three updates a week was quite common :)
LOL, you mean we no longer have access to the Realtek FTP servers? What happened?

I still have access to them... but, official and WHQL updates aren't released as often as they once were.

The latest default Microsoft HD audio drivers 10.0.15063.447 sound better than the realtek drivers and they are not updated every few days.
    I agree

I haven't seen (heard) any difference in many versions of drivers.

MS forced the Realtek audio driver again. Stupid notification says a reboot is required. So annoying so I give up and I am just going to use the current driver 8205 posted here which sounds better than 8199.

I just went into device manager update driver and changed it back to the better MS audio driver. It seems if I uninstall the Realtek POS audio driver every time stupid W10 will just reinstall it the WU mini tool no longer works it hides it but then after about 30 minutes stupid WU decided I have to restart to install the Realtek POS but if I just do the update driver it leaves it alone until there is a big update like the Creators update.

This is why I might get a sound card just because I am tired of MS BS of updating these great sound drivers with the POS Realtek drivers which sound like they are playing from a big room much echo sound.

If the Realtek drivers sound like a big room with much echo then your settings are wrong in the Realtek HD Audio Manager.
