I've tried out builds 8184 and 8189 now. I prefer 8189 as the sound seems more evenly balanced, the bass seemed a bit overblown using 8184.

I just checked the MUC again and noticed that another new driver has now been uploaded, version 6.0.1.8189. This is for Windows 10 Creators Update and is 64-bit only.

I would say it's not a lot different to build 8176. Just give it a try, you can always roll back to 8176 if you don't like it.

After several hours of listening I feel that these latest drivers are not quite as good as build 8176 and I've rolled back to this version.

You know, I wanted to tell you earlier that I have no idea how Realtek will top 8176 in terms of sound quality. For me, it's the best I've heard so far. I won't update now since you're usually pretty reliable in terms of your input.
