Thanks a lot for your info !
I understand now, do not need this DAC , coz my Bose-speakerset with Realtek ( plus Dolby switched on ) and FX gives me enough quality of sound I need.
I can not imagine getting a better sound with DAC then I have now.............!
( maybe with headphone other story ........?)

There are two new drivers on the MUC today, both of them ASUS. Build 8378 and build 8383.

NOTE For build 8383 only the first driver in the list is 64-bit. The other four are 32-bit.

A lot of the recent Realtek HD Audio drivers on the MUC are tagged as "for testing" Mike. I've never seen it on drivers direct from Realtek so I guess it's a Microsoft thing.

It still does not update from 8378 ( with ASIO-DTS-DOLBY) to this latest 8383 ............
It does update to 8382 with Dolby , but then I lost my " Dolby-tab" in the Realtek-options ( can switch on/of dolby).......??
Very strange , went back to 8378 , which I think, is best so far..........

Looks like they don't have "for testing" on them now (in the popup window info). But I'll probably wait until the over 130mb or so package.*

*Unless the DooGz says it's pure gold sounding, of course. lol :)
