You wanted older REALTEK drivers? Here is EVERY driver on MUC for the 6.0.1. series of driver.
    Microsoft Update Catalog.
Forgot completely about MUC except R2.82, the one with the setup installer's version of 6.0.1.8036 isn't there for some reason as it goes directly from 6.0.1.8034 to 6.0.1.8037 so it really depends if the version wanted is with the setup.exe or not.

Guys, I need help. I've been struggling with this for about a week: Realtek HD Audio Manager just won't open properly. It either doesn't open at all or opens as a single pixel, neither of which is very useful.

I read through the forum a bit, and tried the CAB-copy trick, and then the Device Manager way, but neither has worked. RHDAM never opens. I don't know what to do.

    Win 10 15063.

I've been trying to figure out a crashing issue that I occasionally get. I had it happen again today after using the newer driver 8254.
I had foobar playing a REALLY high bitrate flac while launching quake champions. As quake was loading, the screen went black and the audio died.
The windows reliability monitor did not detect an issue expect for me power cycling the computer.

Anyone have any idea how to track that issue down? or what driver may need updated / replaced? Ive heard that the Sonic Studio can cause crashing with bad versions of it.

Depends what the actual version number of 2.82 really is which is 6.0.1.8036, go here and look for drivers older than that version:
    Drivers
If I may correct you, R2.82 is actually 6.0.1.8186.
    It can be downloaded here:

Had the same problem. Realtek HD Audio Manager wouldn't open and the taskbar icon went missing.

Installed Realtek driver v6.0.1.8254 and was able to open Audio Manager again by going to C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA\RtkNGUI64.exe.
Also was able to turn the icon back on in the settings.

You are probably correct. 8036 is probably R2.81. I was trying to find what version # was R2.82 which was released the last few months and somehow it shows 8036 during a search.

I never gave any feedback re 6.0.1.8254...
well, I like it. But, I had to roll back to a previous update to get the latest update to work properly for me.
I also deleted some older drivers I no longer needed.
