Windows 10: Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version

  1.    1 Week Ago #3051

Hello.I am from the Russian Federation, a great power, with the strongest army in the world, under President Putin.I do not feel good with English. Therefore, I write through Google translator, I hope you understand what I wrote.I wanted to write to the account of a frequent problem: Lack of Realtek hd Audio Manager (settings panel), or it is, but it does not work.I managed to find a simple solution! At the very same panel on the original R2.82 driver did not want to start, tried to download the driver via Microsoft update, the panel worked there, but there were NO options to change it, the panel just closed with an error, and there was no way to change the settings. (I have a good 5.1 acoustics, without this panel I would be uncomfortable)And the solution to this problem turned out to be simple, I entered the site of my motherboard (my board is already 3 years old). the information to my motherboard has not been updated for a long time on the site, I decided to download the driver from the new motherboards, on the main page I chose the first available motherboard and there was a more or less up-to-date driver, Realtek r2.82 6.0.1.8210, downloaded it, installed, and, and all settings work fine!Driver took from here: X299 AORUS Gaming (Rev. 1.0) | Материнские платы - GIGABYTE any problems with the panel, try to install the driver from here, if that does not help, try to look for the driver on the site of the manufacturer of your motherboard.Good luck.

Thank you for sharing! Sounds much better so far on my laptop, not at all muffled like the previous versions, albeit quieter.

    Thanks DooGie.
I've noticed the company is listed as Huawei Device Co., Ltd, and not Realtek.

For those of you who installed 6.0.1.8252, how is the device name showing up in Device Manager? Is it "Realtek High Definition Audio [SST]"? I wonder what the SST is exactly?

Does the 6.0.1.8252 version fix the issue of the Audio Manager not appearing in the system tray?

Hi Almighty1, SST is an Intel thing meaning Smart Sound Technology.
