    Same here, it's never appeared in the Start Menu. However it has disappeared from the Control Panel in a couple of builds but was still available from the SysTray. I never use it though so it doesn't particularly worry me, I've never understood why users have a need for it unless they like weird effects loke listening to music in a bathroom I ask myself WHY?
    If you bother to read what I said earlier, it is not for the EQ as I have something else for that like FX Sound Manager. It is to set the Default Format which isn't possible to do anywhere else. You're running on a desktop so your speakers and the actual volume are not part of the soundcard as that's what line out is for while I'm on a laptop so the speakers are built-in and the volume control is the computer itself so it is not for the effects but rather for the Default format which is the sampling rate.

    Yes there's very little difference between build 8216 and 8219 although I have a slight preference for 8219, seems a bit smoother sounding.
    really? then I'll try it

    Edit;

    yeah, you're right, for me I can hear it sliding the Center width in the Dolby Pro settings, is smoother for me, I can hear it clearly

    Hello, i´ve installed the latest version of realtek HD audio(r2.82) from the official site, everything installed correctly but the "Realtek HD audio manager" software is missing, even in control panel. How can i have it back? i´ve updated it from r2.79
    See post #2777 and post back if it works for you. I have not seen it in Control Panel in Creators Update, only in TH2 so only Start Menu for Creators Update.

    Version 6.0.1.8219 is now available from the MUC. 64-bit and 32-bit.

    Microsoft Update Catalog
    Thanks DooGie.
    Have to agree, sounds a bit better than 8216.

    P.S. I suggest everyone check the previews out before downloading the appropriate update for your system. Some have "ASUSTek" listed as company.

    *OT: I'm leaving on Thursday for my honeymoon (3 weeks in Aruba), got married to my love on Saturday. Will check this thread out every once in a while for updates. Cheers to all!

    I am having the "Missing User Interface" problem..
    gave up messing with it - couldn't do via CAB,
    so I just deleted it completely and re-installed my ancient driver from my mobo disk
    at least I've got the interface back..

    - am I to assume that Windows10 update will auto-install the latest driver..??

    I can't answer that BugMeister as I've never received a Realtek HD driver through Windows update.
