Hello erpster4,
Thank you for the detailed response. It was very nice. Could you or someone explain to me what is the difference between the HDA (nonUAD) driver which is 274MB install that comes with the Realtek HD manager, and the new UAD driver for Windows v1903 and is only 17MB?
Also, I tried searching the Windows Store by clicking the shopping bag on my taskbar and when I go search either Realtek Audio Control or Realtek Audio Console UWP app the store cannot find anything in return. Can you help me find this app so I install the proper drivers and use the proper software/HD console with the drivers?
Yes, since it seems you know what you are talking about you should tell Gigabyte because it very confusing for me about what is going on.
Also, what did you mean that "If you really need the 8703 HDA (nonUAD) Realtek audio driver [not the UAD driver]" to get the one from Github.
Any difference or benefit in using HDA (nonUAD) Realtek audio driver vs the UAD driver? It's a bit more confusing for me between the two.
If you want me to use UAD drivers I can fresh install Windows 10 again instead of doing DDU uninstaller. I removed my graphics card by mistake and messed up everything. So I think I will start from scratch again. It installs really fast on USB and SSD drive.
The only problem I have before is like I mentioned I am not able to find Realtek Audio Control or Realtek Audio Console UWP in the Windows App store unless I am looking wrong.
Can you share a video or some screenshots or something for me of what to do? Will this make the Reaktek audio show up in the taskbar or on Control Panel or is this a new layout feature for v1903 Windows. I was using v1803 before so I have no experience with v1809 and v1903 May update.
Thank You.
