I have that DTS audio control panel thing that I think is associated with the Realtek driver. If I do creators driver upgrade from my 1/16 version, will it keep it or update it or something?

Maybe I will just leave it alone. Creators is working good for me now after a rocky start and I don't want to mess that up.

Creators Update has broken DTS for many users. Microsoft issued a statement. To make it short, it's best to not install Creators until they have a fix for this problem.
if u have a legit DTS control panel like DTS studio or DTS sound+ which comes with HP laptops. There's no problem in upgrading
After creators update, Just install d driver from realtek website- then u can manually update that driver through device manager.

If u are using DTS connect- Just hold on for a month, already fix has been rolled out to insiders...

The next update to be released on MUC should be v6.0.1.8135 (WHQL)
I already have it via Realtek.

Yes I saw that earlier today asturias7. Possibly not on the MUC yet as it contains the Dolby version. They tend to put the generic releases up first.

If you have tried build 8135 out how is it sounding?

I have, and to me it sounds a bit better than 8125. On my system the bass has more oomph... I kept settings the same as always.

I agree totally with those comments asturias7.

I installed the version from the MUC which is a generic driver and doesn't contain any Dolby stuff
