    Hey guys one question,

I understand the MUC UAD drivers don't have Realtek Components (in device manager) nor the Realtek Console app. When updating using the MUC drivers, should one therefore only uninstall the current UAD drivers without uninstalling the Realtek Audio Console app? Will the app and the Realtek components remain and function normally after updating?

Normally with MUC drivers , I have extract the .cab file and then used DM>Update Driver>I have a Disk Option and pointed it to the extracted .cab Folder , it should then install whatever it thinks it needs using the included .inf file it finds.

So you don't uninstall the previous drivers first?

I didn't , as MUC drivers quite often as noted don't include everything needed for a functioning Driver

Don't know if that has changed in the last 6 mths though as I no longer have a Laptop .....and my desktop doesn't use UAD Drivers....personally I found UAD too much of an issue , with HDA , you just start the installer reboot wait for it to finish and you have music.....no other hassles..... done deal.....

Don't be surprised if the Console doesn't work after installing UAD , you may have to goto windows Store and update it too...

You should update if you have Windows 1809, somehow the drivers in MSI site not only old but buggy.

It is not locked, I have MSI with nahimic 2 and I updated, somehow my audio was much better.

If you have Nahimic 3 try this 6.0.1.8666

    8666_UAD_WHQL_Nahimic_1300_2019_0329_133535.zip

Unfortunately 8668 is not uploaded yet

    EDIT:
Someone reported 8666 is not working, to be honest I didn't try it yet, I used Release Realtek High Definition Audio 6.0.1.8656 and it worked fine. Havn't update yet

If you have troubles with 8666, then try 8656_UAD_WHQL_Nahimic_1300_2019_0322_132753.zip

Yes, it's up on GitHub with the various versions according to what you have on your system... Nahimic, Conexant, etc.

If anyone has tried 6.0.1.8668, give me your opinion(s). Gracias.

    Btw, MUC (UAD) updates:
    6.0.1.8659
    6.0.1.8661
