Hello, what are those others file in the github? The HP, Dell, MSI etc? For instance mine is HP with Conexant integration so do I need to download and install the 8652_UAD_WHQL_2019_0318_SR_CXT.zip one only or do I need to download and install the generic one too?
    Hi and welcome to TenForums
If you have a UAD driver installed, then you need a UAD driver, like 8652_UAD_WHQL_2019_0318_SR_CXT.zip.
If you have an HDA driver installed, then you need the big file, which includes all integrations and from this one use the FF04 (CXAPO - Conexant integration).

nss357 should use the FF04 HDA driver and avoid using UAD drivers.

the UAD drivers are for newer HP computers made in late 2017 or 2018 (Realtek audio chipsets w/ 7th gen Intel i3/i5/i7 CPUs or newer) and may not support his HP computer. traditional HDA drivers are easy to install with either the bundled setup program or thru Device Manager. Realtek UAD drivers, not so easy to install and are divided into software components

although 8656 came out yesterday, I'll stay with 8652. I no longer need UAD drivers for nearly all my computers w/ Realtek audio except for the custom built one with the Gigabyte board, which has a compatible HWID for the UAD Gigabyte driver

I'll DL the new one from GitHub - but I'm extremely happy with 8648, and I'm traveling today, so if I test at all, it will be tomorrow.

I've been checking out build 8656 a lot today and it's personally not one of my favourites. To me the top end sounds very thin and tinny. Back to 8652 or 8648 for now.

    Hi,

To my ears 8648 is the one I prefer. Haven't tried 8652 yet though.

    Cheers,

    Cheers,

8648...is the best I heard for a long long time!
So, I'm sticking with that until an exceptional one comes out!

I guess that frees me from a bunch of testing then lol.

Which is good, because Android Q DP1 is being a major PITA on my phone....I need to spend some time with it tomorrow instead anyway.

    Hello everyone,
You can post some settings that you use ,equalizer settings, maybe that will help many people to choose some optimal settings ..
I see everyone says the 8648 driver is the best, this is the 8648 from UAD driver?
Anyone knows there's a software that can help you calibrate the sound?

    Thx

Using UAD 8648, and for sound settings,

EQ set to Deep & Bright
Sonic Suite defaults except, for Music I use Studio Reverb set to +7 and upmix surround turned on

Better yet here is my save file for .ROGA Sonic Studio 3(including mic settings): Deep & Bright.zip

Guys quick query, which one is the superior audio codec, S1220A (Asus) or Realtek® ALC892 codec (Gigabyte)?
