Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version

I have to assume that HDXRtGi.inf is pretty generic as it is included in EVERY Realtek Driver integration , at least in 8648 hdxrtgi.inf is in FF00,FF0C,FF01,FF03,FF04,FF06,and FF10.

I don't know if your exact model is included as I am not sure it is included..... get the driver download from Github made by AlanFox and you can check it yourself , it includes all the above integration. You could get 8652 instead since I read here, it is a good Driver too.

is in FF00 and FF0C as I just checked ......I didn't check them all though

MUC drivers don't support every device out there for every version and for UAD drivers , they don't always provide all the driver dependencies either ( they come from the Manufacturer's FULL Driver install ).

The drivers are released from Realtek, so Realtek does what they supposed to do....
I would guess that the updated drivers are available to manufacturers only, since they're not available to the general public (but we get them, unofficially, from people who have access to the Realtek ftp site).
Now whether the manufacturer will get into the process of updating the drivers for their machines (especially the older ones) is a completely different story and definitely up to them and their marketing policy.

Thanks, it makes sense now. One last question, is the UAD version any better than HDA? For example, does it take less memory when opened?

That should do it.....when you extract it you will get all the Folders , just delete whichever you don't need and just keep FF00 for example....

I don't use UAD so can't comment on those or their sound....

Thanks! I think I will use AlanFox's Github from now on for my drivers then. I can see they're coming from Realtek's FTP sites so I assume it has not been tinkered with.
