Windows 10: Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version

Which one do I pick? One set of them says "anniversary edition", and there's a 24.8 MB difference between the two sets (96.5 vs. 71.7).

Anniversary Edition refers to Windows 10 not to the Realtek software package.

If there is a separate version for Windows 10 v1607 (Anniversary Edition) and for older Windows 10 builds, I would choose the one of the build I have installed to maximize compatibility, in my case Windows 10 v1607 AE.

There is a version 6.0.1.8051 available, but I don't know if or when it will surface on Windows Catalog.
    I uploaded it here:

If you are going to provide a link at least provide one that works and does not want you install a bunch of useless other stuff.

I can download it no problem, and without being asked to download other things. I think you may have some kind of virus or malware.

Just tried it again and this time it downloaded first try. Sorry for my quick post. I don't know what happened the first time but I did try it with both Edge and the IE.

There are so many official channels to download drivers, there absolutely is no need or reason to download files from private host sites, virus or not. If someone has a lead for a new driver, please only use official channels for downloading.

We aren't free to do as we see fit ?

If you don't trust a site then don't use it.
