    I've ben quite happy with 8612, so far!
    I think, since you guys recommend it, to try 8627...

    Gonna install this one and experience Realtek + Nahimic 3 sound
    To be honest, nahimic sucks without something like Sonic suite.
    I tried another version once, and the sound was no better than HDA(not bad, but missing the extra "oomph".

    Plus Sonic Studio has Device Routing, so you can set output to different devices, like I have Skype to Headset, and music players and Browsers to Soundbar, and so on. And each device can have a specific EQ set to it.

    I just testeted 8627 with this song(this is my test song usually), and Jesus! that drop bass is deep & clean(no distortion) and the claps are crspier than a fresh Pringles potato chip

    No, I just recorded it at full volume with Logitech Capture, (runs really heavy on the CPU!)
    Comes out sounding a little raspy but, oh well, whatcha gonna do!
