Where can I get the setup.exe files?
Can someone explain the different setup files associated with current Realtek driver packages...is there a legend? When I download them from a site driver site and extract them there are generally multiple folders...labeled FF00 - FF10 (and one called FF0C). Both my Dells XPS 13 9350 and Asus Motherboard (ASUS Prime Z-270-At) use their drivers, but don't update them anymore, which is why I download from the sites. Anyways, I "think" that the Dell uses FF04 because I saw something relating to MaxxAudio. It seems to be working. However, what version would I use for the Asus motherboard? I know the original drivers included DTS Audio...if that makes a difference. Any help would be appreciated.
Just for general info for any Asus Maximus motherboard owners: https://www.station-drivers.com/inde...d=3763&lang=en
I tried these drivers, and oh hell!
They sound good.
Maximus X sound system:the SupremeFX S1220 codec, an ESS® Sabre Hi-Fi ES9023P digital-to-analog converter for superior front-panel output, and a Texas Instruments® RC4580 op-amp
I have always had the HDA version(the old HD Audio Manager UI) and wanted to try the UAD ones and got the UWP version and the sound presets are awesome. I'm no audiophile, and this PC is only connected to a soundbar(see my specs) but damn, the sound is full and immersive.
Realtek HD Audio Driver 6.0.1.8606 WHQL FF00 (Generic)
available for download on Necacom, Station-Drivers, etc.
Guys, what's the latest UAD version of Realtek's drivers? Is it 8591, 8606? Or these are only for the HDA folks? Currently running on 8586 but would like to upgrade. Do they release both variants simultaneously? Thanks!
