Latest Realtek HD Audio Driver Version
-
RTK Audio Control and Nahimic are review-bombed [...] because there's a lack of proper communication between developers and users about [...] what they are for.
Which is part of my problem ...
Nahimic also requires a separate chip on the motherboard, and I think it's just for positional audio, so it shouldn't have anything to do with audio in/out.
That's why I am especially baffled about their replacement of a feature complete tool (the audio manager) with two apps that do all kinds of things except providing basic connectivity solutions ...
Other than this, if you actually have specific needs that recording multiple separate sources and the like, you should most definitely not rely on an integrated chip, just buy a proper audio interface.
Well, like I said it already worked perfectly with the integrated Audio Manager before, so why should I have to spend extra money on yet another audio interface? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Then again if they don't fix this I probably will have to look for an alternative solution ... suggestions are welcome!
Thanks for your time :)

I would recommend (for people that want to use the last drivers from a safe location) that they use alanfox2000's github. Not gonna post the link as I am unsure it's allowed, but one should be easily able to Google it. Chances are you'll find the last drivers there first, and they are properly structured per manufacturer, so it's quite possible that you'll find drivers tailored for your motherboard.
