Thanks for the link. Been looking for it and needed it for Stereo Mix
The new site is hard to navigate and confusing.

They have an FTP with nicely structured folders, per OEM. I am unsure why it's not public. I assume they also have some test/beta versions on it and don't trust normal users with properly choosing a version for their OEM. There are plenty of 3rd party sites posting these drivers, but they all leech from each other, and all leech from the 2-3 people that actually have the links/pssws to the FTP.
Ah ok sorry my bad dont think we ever gonna know the link to the ftp i am afraid :/

v6.0.1.8555 from MS Update Catalog
and that one has a 140Mb cab download, which contains an HDA non-UAD driver.
Only 6.0.1.8549 & greater are certified / guaranteed to work with Windows 10 RS5/v1809 (October 2018 Update).
speaking of 8549, MSI has recently updated their Realtek drivers for recent MSI boards & laptops (both HDA & UAD) to that version
(Realtek HDA, UAD, UAD w/ Nahimic 3)

Up to around two years ago the Realtek ftp username and password were widely known and were posted by users on various sites including tenforums. In hindsight this was a mistake as Realtek suddenly changed the login details, they probably got annoyed by the high bandwidth being used on what was supposed to be a server for OEMs' to use.
It would have been far better to keep the login details to myself and upload the files to my own server.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing

Much smaller IT companies have dedicated servers for their SW and drivers, is Realtek really that cheep and stingy to have one ?.

How do we know if we can use UAD drivers?
-
Try in virtual machine or in the Try&Decide modus ( Acronis) first !
Then you know if things work/not work , while nothing breaks .............
