internet explorer 11 on win 10 will not open update catalog ?????
It opens for me with IE. Have you tried another browser?
yes it tells me that all browsers.
it tells me i need to install a addon for IE 11 is it safe ???
Well, based on the information provided and my own experience only, I would presume that you either didn't extract the .cab file at all, or didn't place the extracted files in the location that you're telling device manager to search. If you read the steps I used again, I chose to overwrite all the files in the C:\Program Files\Realtek\HDA folder, then tell it to search in that folder. Alternatively, and probably more ideally, you could just extract the .cab to any folder you desire, then set that as the folder to search through.
Looking under my Toolbars and Extensions, I see Microsoft Update Catalog, so I probably did install an addon. I don't remember doing that, but either way it's shown as published by Microsoft Corporation. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it.
In other news, 126.96.36.19986 is up since 8/18/2015, for both 32-bit and 64-bit.
Thanks man have a great day
