    Would a GTX 960 Bottleneck an FX6300?

Im going to buy an GTX 960 soon and am wondering if my FX-6300 will be a big bottleneck or not. Also, how would i know before hand so i may be able to check for future upgrades? I thank you in advance

You'll be fine with that combo, the FX-6300 won't bottleneck the 960 at all.

Probably not. But you have to overclock it a bit.

But 280x or 285 might be a better option.

    Hope it helps,

Your CPU can do the job nicely, but I agree with jisr7 that a 280x would be a better cost/benefit choice.

I didn't understand your last question. You mean how to overclock your CPU?

No i was asking how i would know in the future if there would be any GPU/CPU bottle-necking before buying a product.

Just read up on hardware, get to know your stuff, what's capable of what.
