    On my Win 10 Pro X64, the Device Manager links are in the following locations:

    Check and see where they are on your PC. I used Everything Search to find this information, great little program.
    Install it, let it run to build it's index then search for device manager, see what you find.

    I always use Everything Search. Indeed, a great tool!

    I have 4 search results and I don't have the 2nd one in that path and I don't have that directory.

    Device Manager is on the Right-click of the Start button of my Win10 Home and Win10 Pro computers, many things are such as Control Panel, Command Prompt [2 items], etc. Also different from Win7 is Startup has been moved from msconfig to the Task Manager.
    Yes, I know this. Just want to figure out why it's missing in the computer management.

    Do you have the Windows Installation ISO ? . You can try to mount it then use 7-Zip to open the file Install.wim or install.esd, copy the the file compmgmt.msc to C:\Windows\System32

    It's still in mine which is also on that right-click menu on both the RTM/1511 and the Insider Preview/1607 versions of Win10. I don't have an Enterprise version available to check nor the Education version.

    By the way, my Win10 enterprise has not upgraded to RS.
    Sign in to the Volume Licensing Service Center to download Enterprise editions.

    Those are only entries for the Win-X menu (yours and Ztrucker's)

    You could try building your own managemnt console
    Run mmc
    File menu > add snapin

    Pick the ones you want from the list - try adding Computer Management and Device Manager snap-ins
    You can test it without saving - this might tell you if the issue is with Management consoles.

    You have Win10 Enterprise.
    Is this machine administered by the IT department of your organization?

    No, it's my personal desktop.
    I think the root issue is that your machine has Enterprise. As far as I know, you can only get updates though Volume Licensing / Software Assurance.

    You should consider downgrading to Professional.

    I ran into this issue today, and since nobody else on the web seems to have figured out how to fix it, I thought I would share the fix.

    There are a couple registry values missing that need to be manually re-added:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MMC\NodeTypes\{476e6448-aaff-11d0-b944-00c04fd8d5b0}\Extensions\Namespace
    Type=REG_SZ, Name={74246bfc-4c96-11d0-abef-0020af6b0b7a}, Value=Device Manager

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MMC\NodeTypes\{BD1C2544-CF5B-4640-B83E-A5B71AAE2E4A}\Extensions\Namespace
    Type=REG_SZ, Name={74246bfc-4c96-11d0-abef-0020af6b0b7a}, Value=Device Manager

    Add those, restart Computer Management, and you'll see that Device Manager is now back where it's supposed to be.

    How did these regkeys get removed? No clue.
    Will they get removed again by whatever removed them before? No clue.

    Yay Microsoft
