    Hello, MTHall720,

    Welcome to Windows Ten Forums

Providing you have correctly installed a new print driver for your Lexmark Z2420 Printer, here's what to do. Turn on your printer, go to, Start>Settings>Devices>Add Printer or Scanner. Select your Printer. Click add device. Now try to print.

If this doesn't work, you'll need to right click Start>Select - Programs and Features>Uninstall any Lexmark Printer entries.

Turn off your Printer. Then go here, to download the correct print driver:
    http://support.lexmark.com/index?pro...locale=EN_US#1

Note: Before downloading the new printer driver, make sure you select Windows 10, and select which system you have, such as, 32-bit or 64-bit. Then download the correct driver. Turn on your Printer and try to print.

If your printer does not support Windows 10, contact Lexmark Printer Support to see if they can help.

EDIT: I did find which driver to use for you printer by checking the Lexmark website. Use the Windows 8, 8.1 print driver for limited support.

    Products with limited support
These products were developed before Lexmark had knowledge of the re-designed Windows 10 printing system, but will support basic printing features. Microsoft may choose, at its own discretion, to completely discontinue printing support for these products in future Windows 10 operating system updates.

Use existing Windows 8, 8.1 print drivers for the following inkjet models:

    • Lexmark S815/S816 (Lexmark S800 Series)
    • Lexmark Pro901/Pro902/Pro905 (Pro800-Pro900 Series)

    • Lexmark S402/S405/S408 (S300-S400 Series)
    • Lexmark S302/S305/S308 (S300-S400 Series)
