10061 No graphics, now black screen w/ cursor in middle @ startup

    Hi
I just installed build 10061 on my laptop, after creating an ISO from the ESD file downloaded in the update and using it to make a clean install, when it rebooted and I went through OOBE, i then obviously went to install drivers, but when installing Intel graphics I got "This computer is not qualified to install the software" or something like that. I then tried to install via a .inf file from Intel's site, that didn't do anything. Then I just went to device manager--->Microsoft Basic Display Driver--->Update Driver , which did something, then the screen turned black. After about 20 mins, I forced it off with the power button and turned it on again, but sat at a black screen. No login screen or anything, just a black screen with a cursor.

Before I tried the device manager->update driver route I also tried installing the drivers for the AMD graphic card in my laptop (my laptop is dual graphics) but that did nothing either. The display was otherwise unusable without a proper driver as half of it was shifted out of view.

    Any help appreciated
    Cheers

Bumping this since there has been a development here: I noticed that when i install either 10056 or 10061, Windows Update starts installing the Intel graphics driver. That's great and all, seeing as Intel's installer itself doesn't work at all, but in the middle of the installation the screen goes black and the computer is unusable. Trying to identify a way to get my hands on that driver (Its the Intel HD graphics 5500 driver for 5th Gen. Intel Core processors) but coming up with nothing.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I haven't been able to run any builds i've tried (10041,10049,10056,1061) on my laptop and now i'm fairly sure this is the issue. I can't stop windows update from installing the driver unless i disconnect from the internet, because you can't disable windows update in tech preview. I've tried disconnecting, setting it to "prompt me to restart" which is the only option besides "Automatic (recommended)" , then connecting, but it immediately tries to install the update, then black screen, unusable OS, have to reformat, etc.

I'm thinking something along the lines of getting an RDP connection to the laptop from my desktop but somehow having the laptop disconnected from the internet, or blocking WU IP/servers in my router temporarily to allow a RDP link, then unblocking winupdate IP and updating / controlling via RDP which would maybe allow me to see what is going on on the laptop after the screen becomes unusable.
