    Should I buy better Acer Aspire T180 CPU?


    Hello,
    I have PC that sometimes lags on games, I think to upgrade that computer and buy new CPU, should I buy new CPU?
    Information about my computer:
    Computer Model: Acer Aspire T180
    CPU: AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 3000+, 1607 Mhz, 1 core, 940 pin
    RAM: 2 GB, 800 Mhz, DRR2, expandable to 4 GB
    GPU: SAPPHIRE Radeon R7 240 /w Boost, 2 GB DRR3
    HDD: 200 GB
    PSU: 400W

    Given the socket on that PC you're going to have to upgrade the motherboard.. I would think about a new PC.

    You could replace the motherboard and get a better AMD processor. I'm getting an A10-6800K. It's about 125 and you can get a good motherboard for 50-60.

    Hello. My opinion is to go to FM2+ socket, not FM2. Its better solution and you can upgrade later to a newer CPU, without changing the motherboard again.
