MS Sidewinder Force Feedback Joystick and Wheel

I still have my MS Sidewinder Force Feedback peripherals (joystick and wheel). Both are the later USB revisions. They worked to perfection on Windows 7 (just plug and play) but do they work/get recognised by Windows 10?

The way my machine is setup it will be quite an undertaking running the wires etc in and around the desktop and cramped desk space so I'd like to be confident they would still work

does anyone still use these peripherals or similar types? I found it dissapointing MS turned its back on the sidewinder products. Have never been able to get to grips with game pads really. Playing a driving game or flight sim with a game pad just feels unnatural.

If it worked on 7, it likely will work in 10, you may have to reinstall drivers, but in all likely hood the upgrade should be fine.

The MS Sidewinder Forcefeedback 2 definitely works perfectly in Windows 10. Plug and play, no additional drivers required. You can take it one HUGE step further though and download "FS Force" software, a small program (around $34) which takes the force feedback from this stick to another level. So many years old, yet puts most modern sticks to absolute shame.

Thanks for the info guys. Yes the FF2 was a great piece of kit and I also loved the wheel. i have never got along with gamepads. Back in the day I even used to play things like pro evolution soccer and Fifa with my FF2 stick!

Force feedback wheel/joystick on Win 10
Does anyone know if the old MS Sidewinder Force Feedback Steering Wheel and Joystick work on Windows 10? Thinking of the USB variety rather than the even older gameport devices. I presume they should just be plug in USB and Windows recognises them.
Mouse Wheel isn't working
So recently my mouse wheel has slowly stopped working, and now it won't scroll down the page at all (but I can still click the middle mouse button and scroll that way). My Touch pad (I am on a laptop) still works fine, but it's not so easy to use...
