    This is easy, but may take a while since you haven't done it in awhile.

    If you're using Cortana, click on her, else right click the Start Button then Search. Enter DEFRAG, you'll see two, the one you want is the Desktop App. Click it. You'll get a screen similar to mine. Top entry is your HDD. I have a SSD, so just pretend. Make sure that one is highlighted (click if not) and click Optimize. Yours might say Defragment. It will go through several passes, in your case 7-10 or more. It takes a little while, just let it finish and post back when done.

    Yes I'm sorry i should have said ok or something, it's going It said it has never run wow I've had this computer for 2 yrs like i said earlier I ran slimcleaner I'm sure glad you guys and gals had me get rid of that and trend micro reading eset thats far better Thanks

    Not a problem. You got that because of the RESET you did. Ignore it.

    Peter, when Defrag is done, I would like you to download this and run it. If you get a UAC prompt, just ok it. It will add an option to the Desktop context menu to let you get to an Administrator Command Prompt quickly. Shawn, one of our Administrators wrote it.

    Add_Open_Command_Window_Here_as_Administrator.reg
