Hotmail and Outlook along with Live Mail are all the same server .....just a different name. Their real good thou.

You can block a lot of adds on Outlook ....just have to tell Outlook what to block. :) I do it all the time. Works real well Peter. :)

Gmail and Yahoo are actually the worst, to me. Outlook isn't that bad. I don't believe they sell email addresses to anyone. It depends on who you are encrypting from. If from NSA or a major Government, forget it. They have forgotten more about encryption than we will ever know. For just security, PGP may be the best bet, but the ones on the other end of your email have to know your key to decrypt it.

If you look at Mbam you should see a Bar going across the top of the screen showing you how much father it has to finish...Under your Scan tab....can you see it??

It takes a while. The more it scans for the longer it takes. It takes it a pretty good while to scan mine on a full scan. I have about 2.5TB of SSDs. Adding Rootkits just extends the time, but what good is a scan that won't check for everything. Especially when you are concerned about security. ESET will probably take a lot longer. But it will pick up stuff nothing else will. That's one of the reasons I use it as an AV.
